Who Am i

Hi, my name is Abigail Holbert. I’m a student at Kent State University, a dog lover, and someone who thinks design is way more fun than I ever expected it to be. I didn’t choose graphic design because I saw myself as an artist, I chose it because it was exciting. Over time, I’ve realized it’s a constant battle against the desire for perfection. Coming from a non-traditional art background, design became my way to express ideas and communicate. Yet, every project feels like an endless pursuit of refinement, with that little voice telling me it could be more unique.

As my skills grow, I’ve found myself drawn to User Experience design. I love how functional design solves problems and improves lives. Blending aesthetics and purpose gives my work real impact, and each challenge is a chance to humanize technology.

The balance between creativity and practicality defines my approach. My goal is to create designs that are both functional and memorable, driven by a desire to produce something genuine and inventive.

In the end, design isn’t about chasing perfection, it’s about constant evolution. Every step forward is what makes this field rewarding, and each interaction brings us closer to making a bigger impact.
