My Challenge

Ensuring that the layout reflected Patagonia’s brand identity—balancing sustainability, adventure, and storytelling—while maintaining a clean, functional design was a challenge. Striking the right harmony between engaging visuals and clear, informative content required careful typography choices and thoughtful image placement. Additionally, integrating Patagonia’s environmental message in a way that felt authentic and not overly commercial was a challenge, pushing me to refine the design to feel organic and purpose-driven.

My Thinking

My focus was on crafting a layout that not only showcased Patagonia’s environmental mission but also engaged readers visually and emotionally. I was inspired by vintage travel posters, which capture the spirit of exploration through rich colors, dramatic lighting, and timeless composition.
