My Challenge
I reflected on the novel's themes of light, darkness, and the unseen. The challenge was balancing elements without being overly literal or clichéd.The title itself is poetic, referencing both literal blindness and unseen forces of war and fate. Designing a cover that visually conveys "light we cannot see" can be tricky without making it too abstract.
Radio signals play a crucial role in the novel. The staggered text mimicking radio waves subtly reinforces themes of communication, distance, and the unseen forces that connect the characters.
