My Challenge
A challenge I had designing the digital report was translating the visual style and storytelling from the printed annual report into an interactive website. Balancing aesthetics with functionality was key, as I had to maintain Patagonia’s brand identity while optimizing navigation and readability for an online audience.
My Thinking
I aimed to preserve the film-like aesthetic and vintage travel poster inspiration while making the content engaging in an interactive format. My focus was on storytelling—ensuring that Patagonia’s message came through not just in words but in the way users navigated the site. Every design choice, from typography to imagery placement, was intentional in evoking a sense of adventure and environmental consciousness.
